yay power tools!! (indeed. they let me use power tools. be afraid...) we've officially started building the set for the play. woo! (i like this.)

that and, i officially own one of the ugliest ties ever made. it's awesome. it's got diagonal stripes of 3 different textured patterns, a navy blue and ivory paisley-ish print...an orangey-beige diamond-y pattern, and a sort-of thatched navy blue design. it's the sort of ugly that makes things cool. and then i snagged another tie that is skinny and black and has a blue pattern. it's actually rather pretty. the theatre costume cupboard rocks my world.

we started singing our new jesus song for choir today. jaime, katie and i are not fans of it. and no, it's not quite balanced by the drinking song. (landlord fill the flowing bowl until it doth run over...for tonight we'll merry merry be...for tonight we'll merry merry be...for tonight we'll merry merry be, tomorrow we'll be sober...) but then there's the other spiffy song with all the cool intervals and stuff. and the altos get to sing melody. and we also get to use the word unfurl (i don't know why that's important. but rob's jealous.)

i storyboarded my music video in directing & scriptwriting today as well. my group was quite impressed by the fact that i had a concept and a song, and really didn't need all that much help. and why the approval of a group of 15 year olds is important to me i really couldn't tell you, but it was cool nonetheless. and then we bonded over really old wrestling moments. good times hanging out with grade 10s. until amanda came over and glared at me. i get the feeling she dislikes me....

and i learned chemistry. it was joyous. in that kind of wow-i'm-a-loser-and-i-can't-read-the-textbook sort of way. then i figured i had done enough work, so i left the library to go and find rob so i would have someone to slack with, and he harassed me about not being where he was coming to look for me. so we went downstairs and i read his poetry.

i also broke my pants this morning. but then i fixed them with a keyring, so it's all good. and then i used them to attach people to me at lunch, and have 3 different people on leashes at the same time.

oh, and there's a new word of the day. avrilicious. due to my whole baggy pants-tshirt-tie-skate shoes-backards hat ensemble this afternoon. we haven't quite figured out if this is an insult or not...and yeah, in case i hadn't made it abundantly clear in the past, i idolize avril.
